The Tyco 601SB (Part No. 577.001.035) is a conventional sounder base designed to provide audible fire alarm notification as part of Tyco conventional fire detection systems. It operates independently of the detector circuit and can function even without an associated detector when fitted with the appropriate sounder-base cap. The unit requires an external 24 VDC supply and provides multiple selectable alarm tones, including the ISO 8201 T3 evacuation signal.
