The Tyco DIM800 (Part No. 555.800.012) is an MX Detector Input Module designed to interface conventional fire detectors and manual call points with a Tyco MX addressable fire alarm system. It provides power and monitoring for a conventional detection circuit using an external 24 V DC supply and communicates the detection status to the MX addressable panel. The module continuously monitors the external supply and generates a fault indication if the supply is lost. It supports flexible wiring configurations, making it suitable for integrating conventional detection devices into addressable fire alarm installations.
