The Tyco 601H-R-M (Part No. 516.600.203) is a marine conventional rate-of-rise heat detector designed for reliable fire detection in areas where smoke detectors may be unsuitable. It combines rate-of-rise and fixed-temperature detection, responding to both rapid temperature increases and abnormally high temperatures. The detector uses two thermistors in a bridge configuration for fast temperature-change detection. It is approved for marine applications and is designed for demanding shipboard fire protection systems.
