The Tyco 811H (516.800.509) is an MX digital addressable heat detector designed for marine fire detection systems. It uses a low-thermal-mass thermistor to provide fast, accurate temperature measurement and sends the temperature value to the MX fire panel, allowing different heat-detection modes to be implemented.
Key Features
- Digital addressable MX heat detector.
- High-quality, low-thermal-mass thermistor for rapid response.
- Returns actual temperature information to the MX control panel.
- Supports multiple heat-detection modes through MX system algorithms.
- MX FASTLOGIC and HPO detection algorithms can be used with the detector.
- Programmable alarm LED with 360° visibility.
- Remote detector verification and temperature readout.
- Up to 250 detectors per MX loop, depending on system configuration.
- Marine-approved for shipboard fire detection applications.
Typical Applications
- Marine Fire Detection & Alarm Systems
- Tyco / Minerva MX addressable fire alarm systems
- Shipboard engine rooms and machinery spaces
- Galleys, workshops and other areas where smoke detection may cause unwanted alarms
- Offshore platforms and industrial installations
- Replacement of existing 811H / 516.800.509 detectors
