The Kongsberg DPS 4D (G205-12) is a marine Differential Positioning System (DPS) designed to provide accurate, reliable position and velocity data for safety-critical marine and offshore operations. It combines GPS/GLONASS positioning with inertial aiding from the MRU 5+, improving position availability in areas affected by obstructions, signal masking and difficult GNSS conditions.
Key Features
- Combined GPS/GLONASS and MRU 5+ inertial aiding for continuous and reliable positioning.
- Dual-frequency ionospheric compensation for improved positioning performance.
- Inertial-aided integrity monitoring for enhanced reliability under difficult GNSS conditions.
- High-precision lever-arm compensation for position and velocity measurements.
- Easy-to-use HMI designed specifically for safety-critical DP operations.
- Online monitoring and display of positioning-quality/QC information.
- Automatic data recording with replay functionality.
- Skyplot, satellite prediction and shadow-sector monitoring.
- Target monitoring, speed view and Electronic Bearing Line (EBL).
- AIS interface and audible/visual alarms.
- Supports differential correction services including Seastar XP and G2 and RTCM correction formats.
