The Autronica BZ-20/S is an AC Zener Barrier Unit designed to interface conventional fire detectors installed in hazardous/explosive areas with Autronica conventional fire alarm systems. It is installed in the safe area and is primarily intended for use with the Autronica BX-40 fire alarm system.

- Provides intrinsic-safety protection for conventional fire detector circuits.
