The Tyco C1714 is a Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) Interface Module/PCB used with the Tyco T1200-C marine fire detection and alarm panels. It transfers fire-panel status and alarm information to the vessel’s VDR through relay contacts and an RS422 serial interface.
Key Features
- Dedicated VDR interface PCB for Tyco T1200-C fire panels.
- Provides five volt-free relay outputs for important fire-system conditions.
- RS422 serial output provides detailed panel/zonal status to the VDR.
- Supports fire, machinery-space fire and system fault information.
- Fail-safe relay arrangement for critical fault indications.
- DIL switches allow selection of the fire-panel number transmitted to the VDR.
- Connects to the panel motherboard through a 10-way ribbon cable.
